About Indonesian Society of Teachers in Family Medicine

Indonesian Society of Teachers in Family Medicine (ISTFM), previously known as Kolegium Ilmu Kedokteran Layanan Primer Indonesia (KIKLPI), abbreviated by “COLLEGE INA PCP”) was established on 16th Sept 2015, domiciled and headquartered in the Yogyakarta City.

COLLEGE OF INA PCP formation is driven by a strong desire to participate the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as contributing and practicing devotion to the progress and welfare of the people and the Republic of Indonesia, in accordance with dignity and noble traditions of the medical profession and contribute to strengthen of primary health care throughout the world, equal access for quality health care for every Indonesian people, as well as strengthen the universal health insurance system reform, it’s a part of the development of Family Medicine and Primary Care in the universe.Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has decreed regarding the working group developing the capacity and performance of Indonesia Primary Care Physicians (Number HK.02.02/MENKES/282/2016). Primary Care Physicians Indonesia consists of physicians who consistently apply principles of family medicine, supported by community medicine and public health and able to lead the primary health care in a high quality services and care.

Purpose and Objective

Purpose

  1. Unite, fight for and maintain the interests of education and teaching of Family Medicine Primary Care in the national health service system in accordance with the dignity and noble dignity of the medical profession;
  2. Develop, and advance the education and teaching of Family Medicine Primary Care based on the latest scientific evidence to be practiced for the greatest interests of society and nation;
  3. Serve, foster, and improve the professionalism of the academic community, students, and graduates of Primary Medicine Family Medicine in Indonesia;
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with doctors’ associations at home and abroad.

Mission

  1. To hold meetings of Family Medicine Primary Care educators to exchange ideas in the study of science in general and specialist Medical Education for Family Medicine Primary Cares based on the latest scientific evidence in the field of Medicine and Health;
  2. Play an active role in providing direction, guidance, development, and implementation of Primary Care Medical Education in Indonesia in various faculties of medicine in Indonesia;
  3. Encourage and encourage research and development in education and teaching of Family Medicine Primary Cares both in Indonesia and internationally;
    d. Actively participating in fostering and improving the quality of education and teaching in primary health services in Indonesia through cooperation with various parties by not violating applicable laws;
  4. Establish partnerships with regional and international professional medical organizations, other professional medical organizations, and other organizations whose aim is to provide the best medical and health education and teaching for the community;
  5. Perform other activities as long as they are not in conflict with the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
