FM Approvals certifies a number of products classified as general industrial electrical equipment. This equipment consists of commercial and industrial devices and components which operate from electric power and perform mechanical, chemical, lighting, heating, testing or other electrical functions. The equipment may be stationary or portable and is intended for use indoors unless otherwise specified in the listing.
