Above Ground

The above ground piping network delivers fire protection water from the water mains to where it is needed. While the systems are typically quite simple, their performance is critical to the success of the fire protection system. Failure of just one component could have devastating consequences.

Above ground pipe, fittings and couplings that are FM Approved have been evaluated to a rigorous set of criteria. The minimum rated working pressure for all of these products is 175 psi (1205 kPa).
